The Jin Weiyin Historical Exhibition Room serves as a patriotic education base.

The Jin Weiyin Historical Exhibition Room is located on Er Road, Shanzuitou, Dongsha Town, covering an area of 5,000 square meters with a construction area of 2,400 square meters. It consists of five parts: the Preface Hall, the Historical Exhibition Hall, the Temporary Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition Hall, the Memorial Hall, and the Multi-function Hall. The exhibition room was completed in October 2014 and officially opened to the public in November for visitors from all walks of life. It has a complete set of management systems in place, including regulations on exhibit management, fire safety, reception, and guided tours, which are inspected regularly or irregularly. The facility is staffed with one curator, two full-time guides, and one support staff member. Since its opening, the Jin Weiyin Historical Exhibition Room has played a significant role in patriotic and revolutionary tradition education, adhering to the principle of prioritizing social benefits and offering free admission year-round. It has also established partnerships with multiple organizations. Local schools such as Dongsha Middle School, Dongsha Primary School, and Pengshan Primary School use the exhibition room as an important platform for moral education.

Jin Weiyin (1904–circa 1942), female, originally named Jin Aiqing, also known by the alias A-Jin. She was from Gaoting Town, Daishan County, Zhejiang Province. In November 1926, during the 15th year of the Republic of China, she joined the Communist Party of China, becoming one of the earliest female communists in the Zhoushan area. She served as a member of the Dinghai Independent Branch of the CPC and led the establishment of the Dinghai County General Labor Union and the Daishan Salt Workers Association.

In 1927, after Chiang Kai-shek launched the “April 12” counter-revolutionary coup, she went to Shanghai. There, she worked under the cover of teaching at Yuezhou Road Primary School, and also engaged in activities with the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and the Jiangsu Provincial Women’s Committee.
