When you visit the HIT Organic Agriculture Creative Demonstration Park in Zhaodong City, you’ll be amazed by the advanced technologies and magnificent scenes of modern agriculture, urban agriculture, bio-agriculture, vertical farming, and digital agriculture. Located on the South Ring Road in Zhaodong City, the park covers a total area of 2,109 mu. It is a jointly established ecological agriculture demonstration base by Zhaodong City and the Information Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology, integrating leisure sightseeing and science education. The park primarily engages in the research, development, and implementation of eco-agriculture, organic agriculture, leisure agriculture, and creative agriculture, as well as the production of organic vegetables, organic fruits, premium flowers, and valuable plant seedlings. The park employs advanced technologies such as passive ventilation, video capture, data transmission, and vertical cultivation. Its intelligent greenhouses use an aeroponic method, achieving 5–7 times the space utilization efficiency of conventional greenhouses. The park mainly cultivates new varieties of cold-resistant flowers, trees, fruit, and vegetables, while also establishing mother plant gardens and rapidly propagating plant seedlings, producing up to 10 million plant seedlings annually. The organic fruits and vegetables here are grown using a unique method dubbed “drinking milk, eating soybean meal, and taking traditional Chinese medicine,” achieving facility intelligence, comprehensive space utilization, institutionalized product traceability, and integrated production and sightseeing. Visitors can enjoy high-quality organic produce while taking in the beautiful ecological environment, contributing to the sustainable development of people, nature, and ecology.
