Indigenous harvest festivals (Harvest Festivals) organized by various ethnic groups in Taitung County will kick off successively in different tribes starting from July and continue until September 9, totaling 123 events. The duration of each event ranges from 2 to 8 days. Major festivals include the Katiu Bunun Harvest Festival in Taitung City on July 14, the East Rukai Harvest Festival at Dongxing Tribe in Pingtung Township on July 20, the Joint Harvest Festival across Changbin Township on July 20–21, the “Makapahai” Cultural Tourism Event hosted by Taitung City Government starting July 21, and the Joint Harvest Festival in Guanxi Township on August 18.

The Amis events include the Ma?? Tribe in Sanmin Li today (5th), the Xiaoma Tribe in Chenggong Town on the 7th, the Yonglong Tribe in Luye Township, the Jialulan Tribe in Taitung City on the 8th, the ??Tong Tribe in Pingtung Township on the 9th, the Axitulay Tribe in Beiyuan Village, Donghe Township on the 10th, the Heping Tribe and Minfeng Tribe in Chenggong Town on the 11th, the Alabawan Tribe in Donghe Township and the Qi Tribe in Chenggong Town on the 12th, and the Busong Tribe, Aluxilay Tribe in Taitung City, and the Shanli Tribe in Pingtung Township on the 13th. On the 14th, the highest number of tribes hold their festivals simultaneously, including around 19 tribes across Taitung City, Taimali Township, Donghe Township, Changbin Township, and Luye Township. The majority of the events take place in July, with the final festival being the Meihua Kanasoale Tribe on September 9.

For the Kavalan people, there is the Kavalan Sea Festival at the Kavalan Activity Center in Changbin Township on July 7, and the Dafengfeng Sea Festival in Changbin Township on the 15th. The Bunun people host the Harvest Festival at the Katiu Tribe in Zhēnběn, Taitung City from July 9–17, as well as events at the Likia Tribe and Xiaibinlang Tribe in Pingtung Township on July 14, the Tai’an Tribe and Chulu Tribe in Pingtung Township on the 15th, the Alipei Tribe on the 15th, and the Nanhua Puyuma Tribe Sea Festival in Taitung City on the 21st (at the mouth of the Taiping River behind Taitung High School). At 3 PM on the 21st, there is a welcome event at the Nanhua Balakuan in the activity center, followed by the Jianhe Tribe event in Taitung City on the 22nd. The Paiwan people begin with events on July 13 at the Jiada Tribe in Jinfeng Township, the Tapanben Tribe in Daren Township (with tribal leaders Dulalan, Baluchu), and the Long Tribe in Taimali Township, continuing across various locations in Taitung City and County.
