Jardin Majorelle was designed and built by Jacques Majorelle, a well-known French botanist and artist. This garden villa, established in 1924, features a garden filled with a variety of tropical plants, adorned with Islamic art-inspired geometric patterns and tiles, expressing his deep love for Morocco.

However, Jardin Majorelle is truly famous for its association with the renowned international fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. His brand "YSL," encompassing haute couture, fashion, perfumes, and cosmetics, captivated women around the world. In 1980, he purchased Jardin Majorelle and spent every spring and summer here. It seemed that the tropical plants and vibrant spaces of Majorelle's garden also provided him with a continuous stream of inspiration and an inexhaustible source of creativity for his designs.

Jardin Majorelle houses a diverse collection of trees, plants, and flowers from around the world. Tall palm trees are accompanied by various cacti, orchids, and other tropical plants—even Chinese bamboo has made its way here. The most eye-catching features of the garden are two two-story villas painted in yellow, orange, and blue, which look particularly stunning in the sunlight. It is said that these were the resting villas of Yves Saint Laurent. Visitors come here seeking not only artistic beauty but also tranquility and refined charm.
