One of the UK’s best-selling newspapers, The Telegraph, has listed this year’s top 15 best travel destinations, featuring not only off-season retreats in the Southern Hemisphere but also cultural heritage sites perfect for immersive travel, offering global travel insights from east to west.
1. Malta – A small microstate island located just below Italy in Southern Europe, known as the “Heart of the Mediterranean” and hailed as the “Countryside of Europe.” One of the most popular childhood cartoons, the movie version of “Popeye the Sailor,” was filmed here.
