Miaoli Dahu

Dahu is located along Provincial Highway 3 in Dahu Township, Miaoli County, surrounded by scenic mountains and clear waters. The area boasts picturesque landscapes, and its small, bright red strawberries are one of its signature specialties. The strawberries grown here come in two main varieties: "Chunxiang" and "Kunou Wase." Thanks to the well-planned layout and expansive acreage of Dahu’s strawberry farms, the annual harvest season from January to May—especially peak production from February to April—attracts large numbers of visitors. Local farmers often sell strawberry jam and strawberry wine along the roadside, which visitors can choose to purchase.
