Taiwan’s high-quality domestic hotel chain, Yunglo Tourism Group, under which Zhao Pin Hotel Miaoli operates, has recognized the immense tourism potential in Zhunan and Miaoli. In response, the group undertook an expansion project for its second branch, which officially opened on the morning of June 30. Miaoli County Magistrate Liu Cheng-hung, Yunglo Tourism Group General Manager Sheng Zhirren, and Zhao Pin Hotel Miaoli Chairman Zheng Zhaojie jointly cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony. Numerous local guilds, entrepreneurs, and other distinguished guests attended to offer hearty congratulations, witnessing together the dawn of a new chapter for Zhao Pin Hotel Miaoli.

Zhao Pin Hotel Miaoli Chairman Zheng Zhaojie is highly optimistic about the tourism markets in Zhunan and Miaoli. The newly completed Zhao Pin Hotel Miaoli has a total of 191 rooms. The new wing adds uniquely crafted Exclusive Suites, scenic View Suites with exceptional views, essential Executive Suites for meetings, as well as stylish and cozy Family Rooms designed specifically for family travelers, offering a wide variety of options to meet the diverse needs of guests traveling from afar. Each room offers over 12 ping (approx. 39.6 m²) of space and features windows that provide excellent natural lighting. The interior style is simple and minimalist, with navy blue as the base tone, creating a relaxing and soothing atmosphere. The Family Room includes a marble-integrated work desk that combines the functions of a desk, wardrobe, and washbasin, making clever use of space. The open wardrobe ensures guests won’t forget their personal belongings, while hidden outlets provide both aesthetics and safety, delivering a warm and comforting experience.

In addition, Zhao Pin Hotel Miaoli invested tens of millions to create the “Leisure Quality Center,” crafting a jungle-like subtropical ambiance and providing comprehensive leisure facilities, including a fitness center, a stylish sculptural swimming pool, and a sauna, allowing guests to unwind and de-stress with ease. The new wing also adds the “Jiangnan Bites” snack bar, featuring an overall oriental elegant design and offering 116 seats. It serves freshly prepared stir-fries, xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), and steamed dumplings, among a wide range of dishes, ensuring guests can enjoy both hearty and refined meals. Moreover, continuing the Baroque-style classical architectural theme of the main building, the design includes an outdoor Roman-style courtyard garden, perfect for creating romantic European-style weddings for couples hosting events here, leaving unforgettable memories.

Miaoli, known for its unique offerings — “tung blossoms,” “wood carvings,” “hot springs,” “fruits,” “ceramics,” and “Hakka cuisine” — has gradually elevated its tourism profile. Locals frequently visit Miaoli during holidays. Since its opening in 2009, Zhao Pin Hotel Miaoli, nestled like a paradise, has been dedicated to promoting Miaoli tourism. Not only has it partnered with various attractions to launch tour packages such as those to Shangri-La and Baba Tunnel, but it also actively supports small-town tourism in Zhunan and Toufen, including collaborations with Zhunan Cathay Crystal Glass Factory tours and community ecological tours within the Xm area. It is currently the only hotel in Miaoli to have received international tourism star-rated certification.
