With the theme “Tung Blossoms Are Blooming in Miaoli, and Happiness Is Here,” the Miaoli County Government, through travel expert Lin Long, has recommended 15 camellia viewing routes. These include the Miaoli City Xijiaoping Mountain Camellia Route, the Zhuqiao Township Huotan Xiangsi Camellia Route, the Shitan Township Camellia Route, the Gongguan Township Heritage & Ecology Camellia Route, the Toufen Township Back Garden Camellia Route, the Tongluo Township Twin Peaks Camellia Hiking Route, the Sanwan Township Yonghe Mountain Camellia Route, the Dahu Township Outpost Ecology Camellia Route, the Sanyi Township Flying Snow Lane Camellia Route, the Nanzhuang Township Camellia Old Street & Hakka Culture Experience, the Touwu Township Dreamy Water Camellia Area, the Zhuolan Township Leisure Fruit Picking Enjoyment Tour, the Tongxiao Township Ancient Exploration Leisure Tour, the Xihu Township Lohas Cycling & Camellia Trip, and the Tai’an Township Atayal Culture & Hot Spring Tour—15 Miaoli camellia appreciation routes in total.
