Leofoo Village Theme Park

Leofoo Village Theme Park, commonly referred to as Leofoo Village, is a theme park located in Guanxi Township, Hsinchu County, Taiwan, China. It is one of the enterprises under the management of Leofoo Development Co., Ltd. Originally established in 1979 as Leofoo Village Safari Park, plans to expand it into a full-fledged theme park began in 1989. After more than a decade of development, it has become one of the most well-known amusement parks in Taiwan.

Leofoo Village Theme Park mainly consists of four themed areas — “Wild West,” “South Pacific,” “Arabian Royal Palace,” and “African Village” — along with a central plaza. These themed zones surround the “Central Magic Fountain” plaza at the center. The rides, shops, restaurants, and décor within each themed area are all designed to match the respective theme.

In May 2012, the park opened “Leofoo Water Park,” built with an investment of 350 million NTD. Covering an area of approximately 3 hectares, the water park features a Greek maritime theme. It includes Taiwan’s first dual-speed lazy river, the country’s tallest Freefall slide standing at 15 meters, as well as a wave pool, water cannon zone, fountain area, and family play zone, making it a brand-new water park infused with the charm of the Aegean Sea. There are also plans to add “hot spring facilities” in the future, aiming to enable year-round operations for Leofoo Water Park.
