1. Hsinchu Big City Department Store
This year marks the 65th anniversary of the Snoopy movie, and Hsinchu Big City Department Store has teamed up with the in-house restaurant “Charlie Brown Café & Restaurant” to create an adorable Christmas tree. Featuring original Peanuts comic panels, the tree brings cartoon characters to life as whimsical figures surrounded by musical notes and gifts. Each angle of the tree showcases a different comic character, offering visitors a joyful Christmas vibe.

2. Hsinchu Big City Far Eastern Mega City Shopping Mall
A massive 15-meter-tall Christmas tree has been installed in the mall’s plaza, along with a lighting ceremony that has made it the shining star of attention and helped build excitement for the grand year-end anniversary sale starting this December.

3. RT-Mart Zhongxiao Store Hsinchu
A Christmas tree about two stories tall stands next to the motorcycle parking area at RT-Mart. Passersby can stop by for a photo.

4. Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Hsinchu Zhonghua Store
Themed around “Christmas Forest,” the store has collaborated with emerging illustrator Vera to design a Christmas tree-themed installation, adding more color and festive cheer to the venue.

5. Leofoo Village Theme Park
This year’s Christmas celebration at Leofoo Village creates a festive and romantic atmosphere inspired by the American Wild West. Characters like Happi and Hari wear festive costumes, while gingerbread men and decorated snowmen playfully appear along the shop-lined streets, posing for photos with visitors in front of colorful Christmas trees. A snowy Christmas parade titled “A Million Christmases Parade – Nightmare March” will also be held.

6. 2015 Hsinchu Gratitude Season
To celebrate Christmas, the Hsinchu City Government is hosting the 2015 Hsinchu Gratitude Season series of events. These include the City Light Gallery (extending from Hsinchu Railway Station Plaza to the moat, featuring installation art from five universities in Hsinchu, community eco-friendly Christmas tree installations, Dongmen City Square, 228 Peace Park, and Civic Plaza), Wish Card Dream Fulfillment Program, Christmas lighting ceremonies, Christmas gift-giving, and a gratitude gala.
