In response, the Central News Agency specially wrote an article recommending three things girls must do in Bangkok. The first is to take a Thai cooking class at “Baipai Thai Cooking School” and learn how to make Tom Yum Goong (spicy shrimp soup). This place is a paradise for “cooking novices.” Guests can start by learning about spices and gradually get a feel for the flavor profiles of various herbs. The instructors will also guide guests through making coconut milk, coconut cream, and tamarind, helping them understand the core of Thai cuisine.

At the cooking school, the standard course includes four dishes, such as the well-known Tom Yum Goong, Larb Pork (spicy minced pork salad), and Pad Thai (Thai stir-fried noodles). The teachers will demonstrate everything in full and give timely reminders—so there’s no chance of setting the kitchen on fire. After completing the class, the cooking school will also provide a recipe so students can recreate the dishes at home.

The second must-do is getting a massage or spa treatment in Bangkok, which can promote blood circulation, relieve discomfort, and soothe tense nerves with the fragrance of essential oils. Divana SPA in Bangkok is quite popular among Taiwanese visitors and currently has four branches in the city, each with its own unique style. They can also recommend treatments based on your physical condition. If you’re worried about the price being too high, there are plenty of traditional Thai massage shops in central Bangkok, near the tourist areas. A regular massage costs around 350 Thai baht, while an essential oil massage is about 600 Thai baht—great value for money.

The third must-do is watching a hot male Muay Thai (Thai boxing) show. Muay Thai is a cultural heritage of Thailand and a martial art that uses various parts of the body as weapons. Visitors who want to experience the thrill of Muay Thai can head to “Muay Thai Live” at Asiatique the Riverfront night market. The show presents the history and culture of Muay Thai in a dramatic format. Not only are the performers professionally trained, but the team also includes two real Muay Thai fighters, making the performance even more exciting.
