Beidahu "Four Waters" Ecological Park

Beidahu "Four Waters" Ecological Park is located in Xianjin Village, Ligang Town. Established in the mid-1980s and adjacent to the Ligang "2814" Fish Farm, it covers a total area of over 1,300 mu, with 940 mu currently used for aquaculture. It is a shareholding fish farm primarily focused on developing premium, special, high-quality new varieties and ecological aquaculture. In 2007, Yang Jinping, the director of the cooperative, redesigned and planned the fish farm, vigorously developing

the "Four Waters" industry. To date, over 300,000 yuan has been invested in desilting and renovating ponds as well as building supporting infrastructure. A total of 380 mu of high-standard intensive fish ponds and 560 mu of large-surface ecological ponds have been rehabilitated, along with the construction of over 500 square meters of new production facilities and 3 kilometers of hardened roads. Seven sightseeing and leisure activity houses have been built on the large-surface ecological ponds, and 8,000 water bamboo plants and 240 mu of ornamental lotus have been planted around the large water surfaces. The main aquaculture includes 560 mu of grass carp and 60 mu of Yellow River catfish.

In the future, the fish farm will gradually carry out greening and beautification of the environment to build the brand of the Beidahu "Four Waters" Ecological Park in Helan County, aiming to attract more fishing and leisure customers for sightseeing, recreation, and angling entertainment. This will enable the coordinated development of the fish farm’s economic, social, and ecological benefits.
