The "Yilan Happy Transfer Station," a collaboration between Yilan County Government and the Jimmy Liao team, opened on May 24th. The park features themes from Jimmy Liao’s picture books, with outdoor installations such as an elephant slide and a giraffe lookout, while indoors there is also an adorable black dog ball pit and a cool VR virtual reality experience that lets you immerse yourself in the world of Jimmy Liao’s picture books.

The Yilan Happy Transfer Station was formerly an idle space used by Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport. It now provides day care services for residents of Yilan County and assists disadvantaged individuals in finding employment. Through the added cultural and creative value of the Jimmy Liao brand, the space has been given a whole new meaning, combining cultural creativity with social welfare development to become a platform where happiness and hope continue to grow and thrive.
