The popular Korean actor Yoo Ah-in, known for his roles in hit dramas such as "The Moon Embracing the Sun" and "I Miss You," has been invited by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications to serve as the image ambassador for Taiwan tourism. He came to Taiwan to film a promotional video, with the bureau hoping to leverage his wide popularity to attract Korean tourists of all ages to visit Taiwan and promote the island’s rich local cultural heritage.

During his five-day stay to film the promotional video, Yoo Ah-in visited tourist spots such as Taroko Gorge, Qixingtan Beach, and Pingxi, and also enjoyed night market delicacies and mango shaved ice. In addition to taking in Taiwan’s scenic beauty and sampling its cuisine, he also experienced the warmth and friendliness of the Taiwanese people. The microfilm will also be featured online, in media, and advertisements across Korea.
