It has five modern exhibition halls: displaying major flowers, vegetables, fruits, and horticultural features of Ningxia. Among them, the leisure botanical garden, which integrates rare plants from around the world with local specialties, is a great destination for sightseeing, entertainment, leisure, vacationing, fishing, and dining. The leisure catering area provided by the industrial park is also a key venue for sightseeing, leisure, vacationing, fishing, and dining.

New Paradise in the Frontier: Against the backdrop of the Yellow River and Ningxia’s natural landscape, and using indoor circulating waterways as the medium, this attraction showcases eight miniature landscapes including southern-style scenery and desert oases along both banks, featuring famous natural tourist sights of Ningxia. It offers the best viewing experience for exploring the “Jiangnan of the Frontier.”

Multi-functional Zone: The production demonstration area and agricultural product logistics zone mainly focus on agricultural production research and demonstration, engaging in factory-based seedling cultivation of northwest-characteristic fruits, vegetables, edible fungi, traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, and flowers. The zone also includes deep processing of agricultural products, wholesale, warehousing, freezing, electronic trading, quality inspection, and Muslim commercial trade, serving as a major hub for shopping and transactions.

The positioning of the Ningxia Horticultural Industrial Park is to fully leverage its comprehensive functions such as technological innovation, demonstration and training, exhibition and convention, tourism, sales and logistics, and leisure and entertainment. The goal is to build the park into a modern facility with exemplary and leading roles in western China and even the whole nation, a permanent exhibition venue that never closes, and a new 4A-level tourist attraction in the region.

It serves as a model area for modern agriculture in the region, a display zone for advanced scientific and technological achievements and modern agricultural equipment and facilities, a pioneer area for expanding agricultural functions, and a training base for cultivating new types of farmers. Currently, the park employs 650 people, including over 500 rural laborers, with the average annual income of employed farmers reaching 20,000 yuan, far exceeding the local farmers’ per capita annual income of 4,675 yuan. It directly supports the development of production for over 130 local households. In simple terms, it means leading farmers, working with farmers, and demonstrating to farmers, gradually realizing its exemplary and guiding role. It is steadily becoming a direct producer, organizer, standards setter, and concept designer of high-end agricultural products. The exhibition halls mainly include sections for new variety displays, single-plant high-yield vegetable cultivation techniques, soilless vegetable cultivation models, various different cultivation methods with advanced technology and practical value, as well as flower displays from different courtyards and countries.
