It was surveyed by Wang Qiong, Minister of War, who then petitioned the imperial court for approval, and was supervised in its construction by Qi Zhiluan, an official of the Ministry. The wall stretches from Zaogou in the Helan Mountains in the west to the banks of the Yellow River in the east, covering a distance of about fifty li. It was surveyed by Wang Qiong, Minister of War, who then petitioned the imperial court for approval, and was supervised in its construction by Qi Zhiluan, an official of the Ministry. The wall stretches from Zaogou in the Helan Mountains in the west to the banks of the Yellow River in the east, covering a distance of about fifty li. Near present-day Dawukou Village, to the east of the Mingshuihu Farm and up to the railway area, some remnants still remain. In other sections, it has been transformed into farmland or roads and no longer exists.
