Ancient City Park of Linfen is the first open park in Linfen City, Shanxi Province. The park was built taking advantage of the local terrain with the theme of “Ancient City,” focusing on recreating the historical appearance of Linfen’s ancient city. It showcases the long-standing historical and cultural heritage of Linfen, establishing a historical and cultural brand for the city and shaping Linfen’s image as a “cultural ancient city.”

The western section of Ancient City Park of Linfen centers around the theme of ancient city culture, consisting of a lake, waterfalls, green spaces, roads, squares, bridges, sculptures, as well as supporting service infrastructure such as dining and parking facilities. With a prominent theme, rational layout, and comprehensive functions, especially the creation of ten scenic spots — “Bronze Ancient City,” “Famous Figures of Pingyang,” “Majestic Dragon and Ox,” “Flowing Light of Cascading Waterfalls,” “Yuan Dynasty Stage,” “Charming Opera Masks,” “Serene Lake Scenery,” “Scenic Charm of Three Bridges,” “Legacy of Stone Mills,” and “Tea by Ancient Boats” — the cultural essence of the park has been greatly enriched. These elements bring to life the history of the ancient city of Pingyang, making it the first ancient city culture-themed park in Shanxi Province.
