Bishan Binan River Water Conservancy Scenic Area
The Bishan Binan River Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.
The Bishan Binan River Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in the urban area of Bishan County, Chongqing. It was built based on the comprehensive management project of the Binan River and the Guanyintang Wetland Park, and is classified as an urban river-lake type water conservancy scenic area. The scenic area covers an area of 6.3 square kilometers, including approximately 0.69 square kilometers of water surface. The area boasts abundant landscape resources, good water ecological conditions, distinctive historical and cultural features, rich plant resources, and diverse landscape types. It consists of three main scenic zones: the Binan River, Guanyintang Wetland Park, and Xiuhu Park. It has now become an important destination for local residents to relax, enjoy leisure activities, and engage in science education.
