Yangdian Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

Yangdian Bridge

Located in Yangdian Village, Yangdian Town, Xiaonan District, Xiaogan City, it was built during the Qing Dynasty. This nine-arch stone pier beam-type flat bridge spans 39 meters in length and 3.5 meters in width, with an outer span of 3.5 meters between arches, a spacing of 2.5 meters between holes, piers 0.9 meters wide, and pier bodies 4.5 meters long. The piers are prism-shaped, and the bridge deck is formed by eight longitudinal flat stone slabs. All the bridge stones are red sandstone, with the joints sealed using glutinous rice lime mortar. This bridge is the only well-preserved nine-arch stone pier beam-type flat bridge within Xiaonan District and provides important physical evidence for the study of the geographical transport and bridge architectural style of the Qing Dynasty in the Xiaogan area.
