The movie *Villain and Hero Part 1: City of Chaos* is enjoying a nationwide box office run. The Kaohsiung City Government has capitalized on the film’s popularity to promote film tourism, creating a high-tech Southern District Precinct concept hall at True Love Pier and restoring movie scenes at Pier-2 Art Center’s seaside bar. Coupled with the distribution of tourist guide booklets and the Villain and Hero shuttle bus (operating from January 20 to February 5), the city aims to let visitors during the Lunar New Year holiday fully explore the fictional “Harbor City” shaped by the *Villain and Hero* universe.

The “Southern District Precinct” and “Seaside Bar” will open on January 20 and run until June 30, closing only on Lunar New Year’s Eve and Lunar New Year’s Day but remaining open during the rest of the holiday period. The Southern District Precinct is open weekdays from 10:00 to 18:00 and weekends from 10:00 to 22:00. The Seaside Bar operates from 18:00 to 02:00 daily, regardless of weekdays or weekends. Admission to the Southern District Precinct is NT$120, where the original movie set is preserved. Visitors can see Wu Yingxiong (played by Mark Chao) on site, and there’s also a 3D cinema screening exclusive movie clips. Ticket holders will receive a guide passport as well as discarded movie footage that fans will cherish.

The newly renovated and officially launched Seaside Bar makes you feel like you’ve stepped into the world of organized crime. Everyone inside is dressed in black, with each person sporting the insignia of the Triad-like San Lian Hui. Even the bartenders are trained professionals. Aside from gang members, the venue also features sexy hostesses, cool casino dealers, EDM DJs, and bands putting on occasional performances.
In addition, during the Lunar New Year period, a free Villain and Hero shuttle bus will operate from the Central Park MRT Station and Yanchengpu MRT Station to the Southern District Precinct and the Seaside Bar. Visitors who present their movie ticket stubs from the Kaohsiung screenings of *Villain and Hero Part 1: City of Chaos* can also enjoy a free drink at the Seaside Bar, limited to the first 10,000 people.
