The movie "Black & White: The Dawn of Justice" is released; the Southern District Police Station and the Seaside Bar will open for visits

The blockbuster "Black & White: The Dawn of Justice Part 1: City of Chaos," with a production budget exceeding NT$350 million, officially hit theaters today. From its initial planning and casting at the beginning of last year to test shoots and beyond, it has consistently been one of the hottest topics in the Chinese-language film industry. Especially as it continues from the TV series, with actor Mark Chao taking on the leading role solo and joined by Chinese acting legend Huang Bo, popular Hong Kong model Angelababy, and Hong Kong star Wallace Chung in key roles, the star-studded cast has fans eagerly anticipating the film.

This film was shot in 90% of its scenes in Kaohsiung, including the "Southern District Police Station" located at the planned site of the Pop Music Center, the "Desert Storm" sequence filmed in the Nansing Project Area, the scene where a 747 airplane crashes into the 85 Sky Tower, and the helicopter gunfight at the Intercontinental Container Terminal. Two key filming locations—the Southern District Police Station and the Seaside Bar—will officially open to the public on January 20. These two spots symbolize justice and evil respectively, and after opening, their interiors will showcase the entire filmmaking process of "Black & White: The Dawn of Justice Part 1: City of Chaos."

In addition, the film company specially held a grand Taipei premiere on the movie street of Ximending last night. Following the huge success of "Black & White," this shoot and premiere received sponsorship from luxury brand Montblanc. At the premiere, the three main stars of the film—Mark Chao, Gwei Lun-mei, and Huang Bo—along with producer Yu Xiaohui, all walked the red carpet, making for a dazzling star-studded event.
