Qujia Village in Gaotuan Town is located in the southern part of Gaotuan Town and is a village within the Menlou Reservoir area. It is 15 kilometers from downtown Fushan and 25 kilometers from the center of Yantai City, as well as from the train station, docks, and airport, making transportation extremely convenient. The village lies at the foot of the Beidacheng Mountain Range, with the Menlou Reservoir to its west. Over the years, through structural optimization and adjustment, Qujia has vigorously developed the cultivation of fresh cherries. The cherries grown here are large and delicious: there are now over 1,200 acres of cherry orchards, along with 8 orchards and vegetable gardens of tourism value. Qujia has not only opened up paths to prosperity for its residents but also placed great emphasis on environmental protection, rational planning, and resource utilization during development, laying a solid foundation for exploring, inheriting, and innovating rural tourism. Seizing the opportunity presented by the development of rural tourism, industrial structure optimization, and increased farmer income, Qujia Village has integrated diverse natural landscapes such as mountains, water, and forests, as well as a variety of tourism resources including fruit and vegetable farms, cultural attractions, and farm stays, to create a comprehensive rural tourism complex that combines pastoral scenery, specialty planting, fruit picking, lakeside fishing, leisure entertainment, and food and accommodation services. Visitors can enjoy the pleasures of lakeside fishing and farm fruit picking amidst the natural beauty of the reservoir and distant mountains. The “Dragon King Temple” is an ancient temple dedicated to the Dragon King. In times of drought, prolonged rain, or erratic weather, locals would come to pray for the Dragon King’s blessing for favorable weather and proper rainfall. Due to its geographical location, Qujia Village had an ancient Dragon King Temple, but it eventually fell into disrepair, leaving only ruins. With funding raised from multiple sources, the Qujia Village Committee has now fully reconstructed the Folk Culture Square — the Ancient Ruins of the Dragon King Temple, which has already welcomed over 20,000 visitors from across the country. The village committee is known for its simple folk customs, profound cultural heritage, and vibrant community cultural activities, having hosted a series of folk performances and related events such as paper-cutting, calligraphy, painting, and opera.

For self-drive travelers, take the Dongting Toll Station on the Rongwu Expressway, enter Provincial Highway 802, drive 8 kilometers west to Yijing Village, then turn south onto Guzhang Road and drive another 7 kilometers to reach the destination.
