Discover ecology at Taipei Botanical Garden and view the "Painting the Beauty of Fushan Ecology" exhibition

Taiwan is home to abundant ecological resources spread across the island, but their sustainable preservation requires the joint efforts of all citizens. But do you know what flora and fauna can be found in Fushan Botanical Garden? The "Painting the Beauty of Fushan Ecology" exhibition will be held from August 20–22 at the Bureau of Civil Affairs Historical Museum in Taipei Botanical Garden, showcasing a hundred ecologically themed artworks to help the public learn about and conserve local ecosystems.

The artworks in "Painting the Beauty of Fushan Ecology" combine precise painting techniques with ecological themes. The Forestry Research Institute under the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, specially produced the "Fushan Ecology Color Index Leaflet." Featuring lifelike, realistic illustrations, the leaflet depicts woody plants, mammals, and aquatic species of Fushan Botanical Garden in educational detail — a rare professionally produced ecological color index leaflet in Taiwan.

The art exhibition lasts for three days. Families are encouraged to visit together to appreciate the beauty of ecology presented in various forms. Participants who join the treasure hunt on August 20 will also receive a small souvenir.
