With the Winter Olympics entering the "Beijing Time," Shijingshan District — home to the Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, hosting multiple Olympic competition and training venues, and boasting a strong mass sports atmosphere — has also embraced a historic opportunity for leapfrog development in ice and snow sports and the ice and snow industry. To further advance the goal of "300 million people participating in ice and snow sports" and promote integrated development of the ice and snow industry, Shijingshan District willon2019August1September23, host the first Shijingshan Ice and Snow Industry Forum, themed "Rooted in the Winter Olympics, Facing the Future."
The forum is organized by the Shijingshan District Sports Bureau of Beijing and hosted by Beijing Bingxue Weiye Culture Communication Co., Ltd. It invites leaders from government departments and industry associations, university experts and professors, as well as executives from renowned domestic and international ice and snow enterprises, to engage in comprehensive, multi-angle, and in-depth discussions on how to seize the Winter Olympics opportunity, leverage regional advantages, and catalyze the ice and snow economy. The forum includes segments such as keynote speeches, roundtable dialogues, project presentations, and ice and snow classes, along with displays of Winter Olympics culture and ice and snow enterprises, as well as interactive ice and snow sports experiences. During the forum, the "Strategic Framework Agreement on Ice and Snow Cooperation between Shijingshan District of Beijing and Chongli District of Zhangjiakou City" will be signed, promoting the healthy development of the district’s ice and snow industry through various means and establishing the "Shijingshan Ice and Snow" brand.
