Penglai Fengtai Shengjing Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Scenic Area Title: Scenic Spot (National Level)

The Fengtai Shengjing Scenic Area is situated more than twenty li west of Penglai Pavilion along the coastline, at the foot of the front slope of Fengbuding. The main structure within the scenic area is the Palace of the Goddess Bixia Yuanjun. Originally constructed in the 22nd year of the Zhenguan era of the Tang Dynasty, it has gone through extensive renovations and expansions during the Kaiyuan era of the Tang, the Wanli era of the Ming, and the Kangxi era of the Qing dynasties, becoming a widely renowned scenic site. Devotees flocked here continuously to worship, making it a sacred Taoist destination enveloped in an ethereal aura. However, during the Japanese invasion of China, the Bixia Yuanjun Temple was tragically destroyed by war. In the late 20th century, the Palace of the Goddess Bixia Yuanjun was rebuilt on the original site and officially completed and opened to the public on May 16, 2014. Since then, the millennia-old legend of Fengtai Shengjing from the ancient Dengzhou history has been revived in the Penglai fairyland. The newly built Fengtai Shengjing Scenic Area covers an area of over 55,000 square meters with a total of 108 halls and pavilions. Nestled among lush pines and bamboos, the majestic and spectacular Fengtai Shengjing echoes the distant Penglai Fairy Pavilion, singing the glory of the times amid the resonant morning bells.

Visitor Service Center: The Fengtai Shengjing Visitor Service Center is located at the entrance ticket office of the scenic area. It is a traditional-style building that harmonizes with the scenic surroundings. The center includes a rest area for visitors and offers services such as small-item storage and guidebook distribution. It provides comprehensive services including tour guiding, consultation, booking, complaints, and more.
