The Neidong Forest Recreation Area in Wulai, New Taipei City, retains its ecological environment exceptionally well. The highlight of the park is the three-tiered Xinyan Waterfall, where you can experience the grandeur of natural beauty.

The Yunwu Trail is approximately 848 meters long and features three scenic viewpoints along the way, making it a great place to appreciate the magnificent peaks of the Snow Mountain and Dabajian Mountain ranges from the Holy Ridge Line, as well as the steep ridges of the Snow Mountain’s western line leading to the Great Snow Mountain.

The Gongweixu Tunnel in Miaoli is the only railway fortress-style tunnel in Taiwan. Completed in 1903, its exterior remains remarkably well-preserved. Next to it is a natural urban forest park, which is also a popular weekend hiking spot for locals.

● Penglai Waterfall, Caoling, Caotun, Yunlin
One of the Ten Scenic Spots of Caoling, Penglai Waterfall has abundant water flow in the summer, reaching a width of 5–6 meters, creating a rather majestic spectacle. In the evening, when the setting sun shines on the waterfall, the light refracts to form a rainbow that hangs high above the cliff face.
