As early summer arrives, a continuous parade of blooming flowers ushers in the vibrant season. Across Taiwan, various flower seas are blossoming one after another. In addition to the must-see golden rain trees and hydrangeas in May and June, there are also lupines, lotus/lotuses, azaleas, and more, with colorful flower seas covering the entire island. From bustling cities to remote areas, beautiful blooms can be spotted everywhere. Below is a list of recommended early summer flower viewing spots. Travelers may want to save these recommendations for future trips—perhaps you’ll stumble upon a stunning sea of flowers while exploring.
