Driving from Beijing to Changdao: Beijing (South Third Ring Road) – Minutes Temple — Huangshi Expressway (toward Huanghua) – Rongwu Expressway – Weiwu Expressway – Penglai West.

Driving from Taiyuan to Changdao: Taiyuan – Shijiazhuang (224 km) – Dezhou (198 km) – Jinan (125 km) – Weifang (211 km) – via Weilai Expressway – Weiwu Expressway – Penglai West – Penglai (207 km), then after exiting the highway, go to Penglai Port Wharf – Changdao (30-minute ferry ride).
