North Changshan Island

North Changshan Island is located in Changdao County, Yantai City, Shandong Province, covering an area of 7.87 square kilometers. At the northernmost tip of the Shandong Peninsula lies Changdao County, a beautiful coastal city known in ancient times as Dengzhou and today called Penglai. From the Dan Cliff Mountain in Penglai, one can gaze into the distance to see, scattered across the vast, misty sea, a cluster of emerald-green islands resembling gems inlaid in the blue waves — these are the beautiful Miaodao Archipelago, hailed as a “fairyland on the sea.”

North Changshan Island is connected to South Changshan Island by a cross-sea bridge and consists of four natural fishing villages. The scenery is pleasant, and there is a notable attraction: Jiuzhang Cliff. Attractions include: Jiuzhang Cliff and Crescent Bay Scenic Area.
