Long Island Marine Scenic Area

The Long Island Marine Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Long Island, with its unique geographical location and hundreds of millions of years of geological evolution, boasts abundant tourism resources. Here, the sky is blue, the sea is clear, the beaches are pristine, the reefs are striking, the forests are lush, and the cliffs are rugged, offering breathtaking scenery. Since ancient times, it has been celebrated as the "Fairy Mountain on the Sea."

The Long Island Marine Scenic Area, with its main route covering the administrative area of Penglai District, includes eight inhabited islands: Dahei Island, Xiaohei Island, Miaodao Island, Tuojiao Island, Daqin Island, Xiaoqin Island, Nanhuangcheng Island, and Beihuangcheng Island; and five uninhabited islands: Gaoshan Island, Cheyou Island, Houji Island, Dazhushan Island, and Xiaozhushan Island. The scenic area is rich in resources, which can be divided into island and coastal landscape resources, island biological landscape resources, celestial and atmospheric phenomena, historical and cultural heritage, and folk customs and scenic resources.
