The free beach in Wujia Tai is also called Dashawa Beach, which is actually Rizhao No. 4 Bathing Beach. The beach is wide, clean, and has fine, soft sand. It only takes a few minutes to walk from the local fishing homes in Wujia Tai Village to the sea.

Rizhao No. 4 Bathing Beach is locally known as Dashawa Beach. It is divided into two sections: the part close to Wujia Tai Village is free, while the part inside the Forest Park is paid.

Dashawa Beach is part of Rizhao No. 4 Bathing Beach and is one of the few free bathing beaches in Rizhao. Aside from this one, there is currently only Rizhao No. 3 Bathing Beach in Shanhaitian that is free, but its sand quality and beach conditions are far inferior to those here. Rizhao has an extremely long coastline with many beaches. In addition to these major bathing areas, there are also some very small bathing beaches between No. 3 and No. 4 Bathing Beaches, but they are much smaller in scale and have inferior sand quality compared to this one. This is also the main reason why so many tourists choose to stay in the local fishing home accommodations in Wujia Tai every year. Another particularly magical feature of Dashawa Beach is that it is adjacent to a large area of reefs, with the reef area and sandy beach tightly connected yet distinctly separated. The fine sandy beach has almost no rocks at all, while the reef area abruptly appears right next to the beach, spanning an incredibly vast area. The scenery of such a rocky beach is naturally spectacular, which is why not only tourists love coming here, but also wedding photographers—every day at low tide, countless couples come to take wedding photos, making it essentially a free wedding photography destination. After the tide recedes, this expansive rocky beach becomes a natural tide-pooling park, and it’s also free.
