The Pengwan Cross-Sea Bridge is a tourist icon of Dapeng Bay. This single-tower, asymmetric single-plane composite cable-stayed bridge is Taiwan’s first opening drawbridge. Its 40-meter movable section can be raised to a 75-degree angle in just two minutes to allow large sailboats to pass. The bridge’s opening show during holidays is a must-see attraction for many travelers.
