Three years ago, the first backpacker hostel "Stay Inn" was born in Donggang, Pingtung. Sofia, the female hostel owner who studied in the United States, is just over 30 years old and has traveled to more than 30 countries around the world.Unwilling to let his hometown be rated by famous travel guides as “not worth visiting,” he resolved to use this approachable small inn to help more young travelers slowly discover another side of Donggang.

A few years ago, Donggang barely saw any international visitors or young tourists. Sofia used "Liu Liu Hostel" as a platform. Working as both a journalist and blogger, she frequently explored Donggang. Living by the sea, she felt she had to overcome her fear of water. Not only did she obtain a motorboat license and a racing judge certification, but she also learned windsurfing and sailing, sharing her unique view of this small fishing village with travelers around the world online.
