The ruins of the ancient Xiaogu City are a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The ancient Xiaogu City is located in Qianchengzi Village, Yitang Town, Lanshan District, Linyi City. It dates back to the Neolithic Age to the Han Dynasty. On December 7, 2006, the ancient Xiaogu City was designated as part of the third batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Yitang Town: Located in the western part of Linyi City, Shandong Province, Yitang Town is about 5 kilometers from the city center and serves as the western gateway to Yicheng. Its geographical location is of great strategic importance. The town lies on a plain with fertile soil and is irrigated by the Bengan River and the Suluo River, making it rich in agricultural produce. The total area of the town is 53 square kilometers, with a population of 101,000. National Highway 327 runs east–west through the town, while another major road runs north–south, intersecting at a large interchange. To the south lies the Yanshi Railway. The transportation infrastructure here is exceptionally well-developed.
