The ruins of the ancient city of Yu are a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The ruins of the ancient city of Yu are located in Yucheng Village, Nanfang Subdistrict, Lanshan District. Dating back to the Neolithic Age and the Xia and Shang dynasties, they are classified as an ancient site.

The ruins of the ancient city of Yu are among the second batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units.

Liuching Subdistrict: Liuching Subdistrict is situated directly north of central Linyi City, on the northern side of the confluence of the Yi River, Beng River, and Liuching River. It forms an important part of the overall urban planning of Linyi. The subdistrict administers 47 community villages, with a total population of 123,000 and a planned control area of 52.03 square kilometers. Among these, 33 villages are included in the first phase of the old village renovation project in the North City New Area, covering an area of 23.07 square kilometers, while 19 villages fall within the scope of the second phase of the renovation, covering 26.7 square kilometers.
