Qingyun Lake is a National Water Conservancy Scenic Area.

Qingyun Lake has a water storage capacity of 80 million cubic meters and covers a total area of 8 square kilometers. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and guarded at the dragon’s mouth by a causeway, the lake and mountain scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. Along the shore lies Lakeside Park, spanning 13.5 hectares, with lawns and sparse woods providing ample shade.

The park is made up of the Central Plaza Area, the Secondary Plaza Area, and the Dock Area. In the plaza, the large stainless steel sculpture “Smooth Sailing” stands 18 meters tall. Across the road is the Peony Pavilion, with its upturned eaves, brackets, and carved beams painted in vibrant colors. On one side of the plaza, the newly built Fishing Terrace Hotel sits against the mountain and by the lake, offering guests an experience akin to that of state guests. At Qingyun Lake, whether you’re fishing leisurely, boating on the lake, or simply sitting by the shore in peaceful repose, you’ll feel relaxed and uplifted.
