A must-visit popular restaurant for tourists from Thailand, Nara Thai Cuisine has opened five branches in Taiwan in just under a year and a half. Its Bangkok-style fashionable check-in hotspot, which focuses on Lady's "Lady nara," opened its first Taiwan store on April 29. The location was specially chosen at the Uni-President Times Department Store, which targets stylish office ladies, aiming to become a new hotspot for internet-famous café check-ins.

"Lady nara" means "woman" in both English and Sanskrit. It offers a dining environment as if you're in a colorful garden. Founder Yuki combines her award-winning Thai cuisine skills with global culinary specialties, breaking tradition, starting a new wave of Thai food trends, and launching three exclusive dishes at Lady nara Taiwan. Whether for solo dining or group gatherings, it's perfect.

Taiwan-exclusive dishes include “Soft-shell Crab Thai Caesar Salad,” which pairs tangy Thai Caesar dressing with crispy soft-shell crab, refreshing without being greasy; “Hainan Cold Shredded Salad,” featuring a sour-salty-spicy Hainan salad dressing paired with crunchy cucumber and shredded chicken, appetizing and refreshing; “Vietnamese Cold Shredded Chicken,” mixing shredded cabbage, chicken shreds, and peanuts in Vietnamese-style salad dressing, sweet and sour yet not greasy.

With growing awareness of healthy eating among women, Lady nara has also launched a Light Meal series. Using shredded green papaya, quinoa, or zucchini noodles instead of traditional pasta, stir-fried with chef-special sauces, these become Lady nara’s most unique secret weapons—great options for takeout that still prioritize health. Bangkok-flavor zucchini noodles and the quinoa Light Meal series are must-try dishes.
