On March 14, 2012, the first "Altay General Mountain Cup" Mass Off-Piste Skiing Challenge hosted by the People's Government of Altay City, Xinjiang, and organized by HowToTrip, came to a successful close. On the day of the event, over 60 skiing enthusiasts from Beijing, Xinjiang, Shanxi, Shenzhen, Chengdu, and other regions participated in the competition.
