Dongjie Mosque

Dongjie Mosque is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

Dongjie Mosque is located in Fangcheng Town, Xintai City, and dates back to the Ming Dynasty through the Republic of China period.

On October 10, 2013, Dongjie Mosque was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Fangcheng Town: "Fangcheng Town is located in the southern part of Xintai City, Shandong Province, bordering Pingyi County of Linyi City and Sishui County of Jining City. It was established as Fangcheng Township in 1986 and upgraded to Fangcheng Town in 1993. The town administers 23 administrative villages and 34 natural villages, with a total of 9,065 households and a population of 33,418. The town covers an area of 70 square kilometers, including 29,260 mu of arable land. The terrain is higher in the north and lower in the south; the northern part is mainly hilly, while the southern part consists of hills and mountains. In 2005, the gross domestic product was 376 million yuan, and the per capita net income was 3,124 yuan.
