Lotus Mountain Yungu Temple is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

Lotus Mountain Yungu Temple is located in Quangou Town, Xintai City, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

On October 10, 2013, Lotus Mountain Yungu Temple was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Quangou Town: General Overview

Quangou Town is situated in the central part of central Shandong, bordered by Mount Tai (the Eastern Sacred Mountain) to the west, adjacent to the hometown of Confucius to the south, and located at the foot of the picturesque national forest park — Lotus Mountain. It lies 15 kilometers east of Xintai City, covering an area of 92.5 square kilometers. The town administers 34 administrative villages with a total population of 47,500, including 36,000 agricultural residents. The arable land area spans 36,000 mu (approximately 2,400 hectares). It is a township that combines mountainous regions, mining areas, tourist zones, and military camps.
