Daxie Watchtower is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

Daxie Watchtower is located in Xiaoxie Town, Xintai City, and dates back to 1938.

On October 10, 2013, Daxie Watchtower was designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Xiaoxie Town: Xiaoxie Town is situated at the foot of the world-famous Mount Tai and along the Chaiwen River. It covers an area of 39 square kilometers, administers 18 administrative villages (residential areas), and has a total population of 53,000, including 25,000 agricultural residents. The Xie Zhuang Coal Mine, a state-owned large-scale coal mine with an annual output of 2 million tons under the Xinwen Mining Group, is located in the town center. National highways, Mengguan Highway, and Cilai Railway all run through the town, making transportation extremely convenient. The town boasts a long history, profound cultural heritage, and abundant mineral resources, with over 40 types of identified mineral deposits such as coal, gypsum, dolomite, and quartzite.
