Mao Zedong Literature Museum in Xintai City

The Mao Zedong Literature Museum in Xintai City is located in Shandong Province. According to information from the National Cultural Heritage Administration in September 2020, it currently houses a collection of 300,000 items/sets, hosts 10 exhibitions, conducts 12 educational activities, and receives 42,000 visitors.

The museum is funded by the Xintai Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, with the collection provided by Bai Qianshui. The collection includes over 300,000 volumes (items) of various editions of Mao Zedong’s Selected Works, quotations, poetry, and individual publications, in Chinese, 11 ethnic minority languages, 44 foreign languages, and Braille. A faint scent of books fills the museum.
