Xiangshan Forest Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Xiangshan Forest Park is located in Xiangshan Town, Xinjian County, Jiangxi Province, 39 kilometers from downtown Nanchang. It developed from a township-run forest farm into a provincial-level forest park. The park features dense forests and a tranquil environment. From April to September each year, a large number of egrets inhabit and breed here, creating a unique forest landscape. There are 15 species of egrets in the world, and Xiangshan Forest Park is home to 12 of them. During the peak migratory seasons in spring and autumn, flocks of birds take off in the morning, darkening the skies, and return to their nests in the evening, covering the entire woodland in white so that the green branches are no longer visible. After the summer migratory birds leave, many winter migratory birds such as wild geese, small swans, and cranes come here for the winter. The forest is also home to a variety of wildlife, including pheasants, magpies, and rabbits. It is a comprehensive destination offering bird watching, camping, picnicking, hunting, fishing, boating, singing and dancing, leisurely walks, health retreats, photography, sightseeing, specimen collection, games, and forest bathing.

It is a forest tourism area that attracts many domestic and international visitors each year for bird watching, and it also welcomes visits from ecologists and wildlife experts for research.
