"Golden Dragon Mountain" in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, ranked among Taiwan’s top three photography destinations,has seen an increasing number of visitors. To accommodate this, a new forest trail has been built beneath the Viewpoint Three Pavilion and officially opened at 10:00 AM on December 29th!The 200-meter-long trail connects the second parking lot to Viewpoint Three Pavilion, preserving the natural landscape including the fragrant cypress forest. Visitors can stroll through the woods to experience nature and unwind with a forest bath.
Yuchi Township has three major leisure agriculture areas: Dalin, Dayan, and the Sun Moon Lake Tou She Huo Basin Leisure Agriculture Area. Among them, Golden Dragon Mountain is located within the Dayan Leisure Agriculture Area,making it a prime spot to enjoy low-altitude sunrises and sea of clouds, as well as a favorite location for photographers capturing sunrise scenes.In addition to the forest trail, a new second parking lot has also been constructed, which began work in late May and was completed after six months.

The Yuchi Township Office in Nantou County stated,that a New Year’s Eve sunrise welcoming event will be held at Golden Dragon Mountain on January 1st,featuring exciting performances such as a morning music concert and performances of natural sounds. Visitors can explore local attractions in the township, learn about Yuchi’s three treasures of agricultural specialties, such as tasting black tea at tea factories, shopping for orchids at Dongguang Flower Area, and buying mushrooms and coffee at the Dalin Leisure Agriculture Area.
