Haidian Three Hills and Five Gardens Greenway
The project is located in the Haidian Three Hills and Five Gardens area, stretching from Yuquan Mountain in the north to Minzhuang Road in the south, and extending from Haidian Park in the east to Xiangshan Road in the west, passing through Haidian Town and Sijiqing Town. The project plans to build 36 kilometers of new greenways, covering an area of 62.79 hectares, with a total investment of 69.95 million yuan.
Construction began in December 2013. So far, 2,014 trees, 5,794 shrubs, and 125,031 square meters of ground cover have been planted. The greenways along Beiwu Village Road, Xinjian Gongmen Road, and the auxiliary road of North Fourth Ring Road have been largely completed, accounting for 65% of the total project.
The Haidian Three Hills and Five Gardens Greenway project is expected to be completed before October 1st this year and will be open to the public free of charge upon completion.
