Brief:

The Yuan Gong Stele is located in the northeastern valley of Tianwei Village, south of Luohan Mountain Ridge, and remains largely well-preserved to this day.

The Yuan Gong Stele stands 3 meters tall and 5 meters wide, inscribed with two five-character regulated poems composed by the renowned Southern Song poet Liu Yuangang during his visit to local temples such as the former Xiangcheng Temple and Biyun Temple. These poems reflect the prosperity of the Xiangcheng Temple and Biyun Nunnery areas during the Southern Song Dynasty and hold significant reference value for studying the ancient history and religious sites of our region. Furthermore, as most of Liu Yuangang’s works have been lost, the preservation of the Yuan Gong Stele is even more precious. It is one of the oldest and best-preserved stone carvings in our city.

Zhaoxian Town: Zhaoxian Town in Wanli District is located in the northwest of Nanchang City, within the suburban area of Wanli District, only 14 kilometers from downtown Nanchang. It serves as the urban center and southern gateway of Wanli District. To the southeast, it borders the suburban areas of the city and Xinjian County, while to the northwest, it neighbors Meiling and Taiping in the same district. The town covers an area of 92.5 square kilometers, with over 11,000 mu of arable land and more than 100,000 mu of forested land. It governs 19 administrative villages and 92 village groups, with a population of 25,000.
