The Yaohe Ancient Tombs are a cultural heritage site protected by Xinjian District.

Location: Yaohe Village, Changyi Township, Xinjian County, Jiangxi Province

Introduction: During an archaeological survey conducted between April and June 1985, multiple large tombs were discovered in Gaozhou and Yaohe villages of Changyi Township. Among them were eight tombs from the Han to the Northern and Southern Dynasties periods located in Guankuang Village, Gaozhou. The tomb bricks feature net-patterned designs. In Yaohe Village, several tombs belonging to Qing Dynasty officials have been found, with well-preserved examples including the Tao Shenfu Tomb in Guankuang Village (the stone lions and ornamental columns have been destroyed, but the tomb itself remains intact, with an epitaph indicating burial in the fifth year of the Tongzhi reign), the Tao Shouchao Tomb on Tangjiashan (buried in the seventeenth year of the Guangxu reign), and the Wu Zhuolei Tomb from the early Qing period (buried in the thirteenth year of the Shunzhi reign).
