Meiling Lion Peak is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Meiling Lion Peak combines Lion Peak, Panxi Lake, and Wangshi Gully into one scenic area. The mountain resembles a crouching lion, hence the name Lion Peak.

Meiling Lion Peak is only 260 meters above sea level, but its ruggedness is no less than that of Huangshan, with steep cliffs and strange rocks and forests. Feilai Peak is the most majestic and spectacular example of granite rockfall landform, encapsulating the grand and dramatic mountain-building process of Meiling, a massive thrust nappe geological structure.

Transportation by bus:

From Nanchang Railway Station, take G105 to Lushan South Avenue, then X014 to Meiling Lion Peak Scenic Area.

Self-driving route:

Take bus 219 from Nanchang Railway Station to Dongfanghong Station, transfer to bus 112, get off at Wangshi Gully Lion Peak Station, and walk to Meiling Lion Peak Scenic Area.
