Zhangshu City Museum

Zhangshu City Museum is located on Lujianan Road in the urban area, covering an area of 4,800 square meters with a building area of 2,340 square meters. The museum primarily focuses on the investigation, protection, research, display, and promotion of ancient historical relics. It was established in 1960, and its plaque was inscribed personally by Guo Moruo. An additional exhibition building was added in 1981. A large number of cultural relics unearthed from Neolithic to Spring and Autumn–Warring States period sites in the Zhangshu area—including Wucheng, Zhugui City, and Fanchengdui—are displayed here, including some rare treasures. The museum also features exhibitions on historical relics, as well as the history of medicine, liquor, and salt. It is one of the earliest-established and richest-county-level museums in Jiangxi Province.
