The Linjiang Grand View Tower is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

Grand View Tower: Located on County Front Street in Linjiang Town, it was originally built in the third year of the Chunhua era during the Northern Song Dynasty (992), and has undergone several renovations and changes over time. Originally called the Watchtower, it served as the main gate lookout of the Linjiang military prefecture, circuit, and provincial government offices, and is the only remaining grand-scale old site of a regional administrative gateway in Jiangxi Province. The structure is designed in the style of a city tower, standing 22.4 meters tall in total. Climbing to the top offers views of distant green mountains, pine trees, orange groves, farmhouses, sailing boats on the river, and the city’s streets and alleys — all clearly visible, hence the name “Grand View Tower.” After the Jiangxi Linjiang Veterans' Sanatorium moved in during 1951, the former county government site was repurposed as the sanatorium grounds, and the tower became its entrance gate. Although some parts were slightly altered during renovations, the overall appearance remains largely unchanged. It was designated as part of the fifth batch of Jiangxi Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units in 2006.
